Georgian Rectory

Family Home, West Sussex

RECTORY MANTEL & MIRROR

This South Downs rectory, dating back to 1810, was a complete blank canvas. It had been striped of all the original features.

Emma reinstated the period details including panelling, reclaimed oak floors and complimentary colours throughout. The owners had a mixture of contemporary art and traditional antiques and Emma worked closely with them to create a beautiful, comfortable home.

We moved from a contemporary London house to a countryside period property. We struggled to mix old and new however, Emma who worked her magic, reinstating all the period features the house deserved and showed us how to make the property our own.
