Emma Wood Interiors

Regency Villa

Hove

Kitchen

Emma and her talented team restored this Regency Villa in Hove to its former glory. Emma's first step was to create a layout that would cater to her client's requirements, including spaces to work, exercise, and recover from demanding jobs and a spacious kitchen and dining area for entertaining.

Emma also designed the front garden, aligning it with the striking facade, and created multiple social spaces in the back garden for her clients to entertain. Emma's creative approach preserved the building's structural integrity and introduced an unexpected contemporary aesthetic, resulting in a perfect blend of old and new.

Upon purchasing a house with such character we were aware that we could only ever be called its curators.

It was hugely important that we were sympathetic to its beautiful features yet also allowed its vibrant and grounding energy be reflected in the design.

Emma has brought a colour, energy and grace back to this house. No matter where you look there is colour, detail, art and function all existing symbiotically allowing daily living to effortlessly occur.
