The Crown Inn, Dial Post, West Sussex
The Crown Inn pub is located in the beautiful South Downs in the pretty village of Dial Post, set on the boarders of the Knepp Castle Estate. The owners brief was to refurbish the bar, eating areas and create new guest bedrooms suites.
Drawing on the Sussex countryside, the design was based upon local flora and fauna. Antique herb prints, block fabrics on linen, Eric Ravilious art and original signage were used.
In addition to transforming the bar and restaurant areas new, unique guest bedrooms were created with ensuite bathrooms. Each unique in character using locally sourced antiques and artworks.
Customers today want a pleasurable, welcoming setting where they can return again and again. We aspired to improve the bar area, restaurant zones and reinstate bedrooms for overnight stays.
